We went to wallmart and got all of Nathans school supplies and a few clothing items. Then we took him to get his hair cut. This is one of those mile stones that I am sure looses its novelty after a few years of it! But we were really excited for this preparation and had allot of fun with it!
Well it finally came! Nathans first day of school! We started this day off as a pretty leisurely morning. I got Nathan ready for school and spiked his hair upon request! Then we met up with his "Angel mom" as Nathan calls her. We then went to Mcdonalds (Nathans request) for lunch. Then we dropped him off at school and I was so happy and excited for him but sad all at the same time! He is growing up so fast I was left asking myself where all the time has gone? Nathan was so ready for his first day in kindergarden he wasnt scared or apprehensive to leave our side at all! After school we picked him up from his class room and went to Dairy Queen for an ice cream treat over Nathan told us all about his first day! This was truely a great day!

When we moved from Washington Sam sold his truck and we decided that he could buy a vehicle once we got down to Colorado. This was such a bittersweet event! On one hand we were so excited that we were able to sell his truck so fast and for the price that we were asking but Sam had a love hate for his truck! But we said we would buy him a jeep because that was what he really wanted! The search for this jeep proved to be allot tougher than we thought it would be! But we finally found the perfect jeep after many many hours searching! Clean interior the perfect color and well taken care of! Sam is so happy with his new Jeep Liberty and it has proved to be a great family vehicle!

For the 4th of July we decided to be a bit adventurous and go on a family road trip! We went with Russ Cody and Tori to Wyoming and camped out for two days. Originally we were supposed to stay there for much longer but the novelty wore off pretty quickly with the 100 degree and up weather! The bugs and the sun kicked us out pretty quick but while we were there we had allot of fun! We went on the boat and Nathan inter tubed for the very first time and he even jumped off of a rock into the water! He was so brave and adventurous he is growing up so fast!
