This year was very different for Nathan when he turned 5. He is usually used to a big birthday party at a park with lots of family. This year was very different and Sam and I really wanted it to still be a special day! We started the day off by taking Nathan to the movie theater to see Kung Fu Panda Nathan loves movies especially at the theater! The movie was great! Then we (Me Sam Tori my mom and Skyla) all went to a family water park. It is a small scale water park with a water slide. This was so much fun Nathan even conquered his fear and went down the BIG slide all by himself! By the end of the day I could barely pry him away from that water slide! After that we all cam back to our place and had a really great dinner hamburgers and such and then did ice cream cake and presents it ended up being one of my favorite birthdays with him and he had a blast!

Pikes Peak
This summer we were able to take a trip up to the top of Pikes Peak. You can actually drive all the way to the top very slowly and carefully! It was absolutely beautiful! Thankfully we had enough hindsight to bring a sweater but in actuality we needed a snow jumper by the time we got to the top it was sooooooo cold! That definitely cut the enjoyment For Nathan Tori and Myself but Sam was on cloud 9! By the time that we started going down the mountain I had altitude sickness thankfully that didn't last for too long!
