Twin Falls Idaho

We reached Twin Falls Idaho Friday Night just before it got dark we were able to take in some breathtaking scenery and also get some amazing Mexican food! Who would have thought! We originally thought that we would eat dinner and then get a place to stay for the night but all the beauty had a hefty price tag so we decided to continue on our journey!!!!

Along the way there were allot of beautiful places to pull over and take in the scenery this is one of the places that we stopped right before we got out of Oregonn.

Road trip for Boogie

So I have to admit I was a little bit apprehensive about how fun this road trip was going to be with a 4 year old in tote but in all honesty it was allot of fun and Nathan was a pleasure the whole time! Now I must admit that was greatly aided by the wonderful invention of the portable DVD player! When he got bored of looking out the window or we got tired of playing a million questions we could throw on a movie from the comfort of the back seat and WA-LA parental bliss! Then there was nap time he even looks comfy oh what it would be like to be a kid again!

Pancakes please!

So if you have ever had my child in the morning than you know if you ask him what he would like for breakfast the response is almost always PANCAKES! I always say that Nathan could eat me out of house and pancakes! We officially started our road trip to Colorado on the morning of June 7th 2008 and we stopped at a little breakfast place called waffles and more! It was pretty tasty a good way to start the day off!

I WANNA BE A COWBOY BABY!

The first stop on our journey to Colorado was my to my lifelong friend Lisa Fields and her wonderful family! We had allot of fun just relaxing and spending some quality time with them! There Sam decided to play dress up, now for those of you who don't know my husband has been toying with the idea of being a cowboy since he was knee high to a grasshopper, but this is taking it to a whole new level! Adam Lisa's husband was gracious enough to provide the clothing however I hate to burst your bubble baby but you look like you wanna be a hick.......not a cowboy!!!!!
